Finance Website Design
Branding, UX/UI Design, Interactive Design
What is Diener Money Management?
It is a financial advising company who was looking to refresh their website with more visual appeal and new content, all while maintaining the existing brand guidelines. It was a heavy lift of collaboration and communication with key stakeholders to bring the final design to a live and finance-compliant state.
After establishing a fresh look on the homepage, the refreshed look was reflected in other pages, including a “Contact Us” layout as well as a new “About Us” look which was previously static and outdated, and needed accessible and interactive aspects added.
Branding
Before laying out look and feel of the new website design, a formal brand guideline for the existing design system was created to ensure all branding would be honored and expanded upon since it had never been standardized.
The branding helped shape the look for not only the new website, but maintained social, digital, and print guides and inspiration as well. A template was built for what all future communications would look like and ensure if it gets passed along to other designers that there will be no discrepencies.

UX Design Process
This project was created through research of competitors, trends, and a thoughtful planning process with an investment in the stakeholders goals and vision to complete the final design.
This project was created through research of competitors, trends, and a thoughtful planning process with an investment in the stakeholders goals and vision to complete the final design.
The original contact page had no usability, with limited information and no submittable form for potential clients to reach out. Simple icons were added to the information to make it easy to scan for important details, and a map was also added to direct clients to the location in multiple ways.
For the team page, it was initially very wordy and outdated. The static nature of it did not prompt users to want to look through the page, so imagery and short content was refreshed and resized.
Final Insights
Overall, this project continues to be ever-evolving with stakeholder needs and new pages being created as content becomes ready, and I learned more into the hand-off process with my work to a developer to create the final product in Wordpress. I improved my own methods of finding clear ways to communicate changes and edits along the way from the company back to the developer as a project manager and designer.
