Capital Planning Website Design
UX/UI Design, Interactive Design
What is Capital Planning?
It is a well-established financial advising company who was looking to redo their website due to a problematic backend limiting the design capabilities for accessibility and usage, and they were considering updating some branding colors and guidelines. It was a heavy lift of collaboration and communication with other designers and key stakeholders to bring the final design to a finance-compliant state.

UX Design Process
This project was a proposal of what a full 30 page redesign would look like, complete with fresh branding and more visual-focused assets to convey professionalism and a consistent messaging for their current and prospective clients.
The original website was breaking down on the backend, so design elements could not be updated to the best practices for responsiveness or usability. This redesign was a much needed refresh with the understanding that it would be started from scratch while maintaining the legacy look of a 30 year old brand.
It focused content and layout more on the client experience and what the user would want.
Final Insights
This project taught me more about the proposal side of the process of gathering information, planning, and designing before having a complete scope of the outcome and what the client would like as a final product. I learned to keep a precise and well-documented design proposal and how to best share the work and the formal document itself to share with the board of stakeholders.
